Copy & content services
Not every “words” professional does every kind of “words” work, but my career has afforded me the opportunity to do a lot of them. Explore the copy and content services I offer below.
Words for all occasions
Like a Spencer’s, but for brands that want words (instead of for gift-givers with weird nephews).

What is “copywriting,” you ask? It’s a great question, honestly. I’ll put it this way: if content writing is longform — blogs, reports, emails, and so on — copywriting is its punchier shortform counterpart. Copywriting creates the words that make up your favorite ad campaigns, commercials, and so on. It can include services like:
Creating the main content on a marketing website (headings, subheadings, body copy, product pages, and so on)
Tagline and slogan ideation
Concepting for ad campaigns
Actual writing of ad copy
Scriptwriting for commercials
Messaging and positioning (how you want to communicate the value of your brand or product to the world)
Product naming
“and more” (the possibilities are endless)
-
If you already have words on your website, but you’re not happy with what’s there, a copy refresh might be for you. This service involves me taking a full audit of the copy currently live on your site and making suggestions for how to punch up what you have, including what to replace completely. See: my work for Beacon.

What to expect when working with me
1. Exploratory call
Let’s hop on a call and talk about what you need. I’ll mostly listen and ask questions. At the end, I’ll make a recommendation and explain how I might be able to help. If it’s not a good fit, we’ll probably know! No hard feelings, seriously.
2. The budget dance & contract
Once we’ve decided we’d be a good fit for each other, we can do the whole back-and-forth over email: you’ll ask for my rates, I’ll ask for your budget in response, and eventually, we’ll land on something that works for both of us and can sign a contract outlining expectations on both sides.
3. The work!
What it says on the package — I get to work on your project, checking in as regularly as you need.
4. Delivery & feedback
Copy and content are a process. That’s why I love getting feedback from clients. If what I deliver the first time around isn’t exactly what you were looking for, we can discuss what didn’t meet your expectations and I’ll go back to the drawing board for a second round.
But enough about me. What about you?
Send me a message with some information about what you’re looking for, and let’s talk about what I can do to give your brand that little extra sparkle.
